AudioRouterNow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your audio never leaves your device. No account required. No tracking in the app.

None. AudioRouterNow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, crash reports, or analytics.

2. Audio Processing

AudioRouterNow routes your Mac's audio to multiple output devices simultaneously using Apple's Process Tap API (macOS 14.2+). All audio processing happens locally on your device.

The app requires the com.apple.security.audio-input entitlement. This is a technical requirement by macOS for apps that use the Process Tap API to monitor audio output — it does not mean the app records your microphone. macOS will show its standard microphone consent dialog on first launch.

3. Optional Tip Jar (In-App Purchase)

AudioRouterNow is completely free. An optional Tip Jar (Coffee ☕ $1.99 / Beer 🍺 $4.99) is available if you'd like to support development. These are one-time consumable purchases with no subscription.

All payments are processed by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not receive or store any payment card information. Apple's Privacy Policy governs the payment transaction.

4. This Website

The landing page at audiorouternow.mauriciomorkun.com uses Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool. Umami runs on our own server in Germany (EU). It does not use cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, and does not track individual users. Data never leaves our infrastructure.

5. Open Source

AudioRouterNow's source code is publicly available on GitHub (legacy v3, GPL-3.0). You can verify its behaviour directly from the code.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have any privacy-related questions, contact us at dev@mauriciomorkun.com.
